Experience
Hal has only worked in and studied arboriculture and has done so for over forty five years (since 1979)
Trained in forestry for Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth II, on the Sandringham Estate, Norfolk
12 years in tree maintenance contracting as a practical, climbing arborist in UK, Germany (5 years), Belgium and Holland
6 years as a London local authority tree officer in L. B. Lambeth
Worked throughout the South-East for a private arboricultural consultancy
Founded ACS (Trees) Consulting, in London in 2000
Has been and continues to be commissioned to provide expert advice for numerous prestigious projects including: the sole arboriculturist to the London Olympics project 2012; three of the monument installations in Parliament Square, London; Queen Elizabeth Park legacy project; Exhibition Road refurbishment; Crossrail; London Eye, Jubilee Gardens, Victoria Embankment Gardens; re-building of the Old Guardian Building. Works with and is instructed by both County and Local Councils and has extensive experience with all 33 London Boroughs as well as most of the Councils in the South East
